House Of Art
The House Of Art is an art space presented by Red Bull for new up and coming artists from the Detroit area of all types to have studio and exhibition space to make and showcase their works. They strive to give these artists the space and motivation to reach no heights of their work and to cultivate their ideas into something amazing. They do rotating groups of eight artists every few months to display their works in the wonderfully built and exhibition space that is located in Detroit Eastern Market area. The underground space that houses the House Of Art was once a hideaway during the prohibition times in Detroit and its been amazingly converted into a wonderfully open and cutting edge artist space. For each group, they do amazing free opening parties with great music from local DJs and free drinks where you can view all the works and meet the artists if you like. After the opening, its open each Saturday from 10am-3pm, so come in soon and take a look at all the great art that Detroits future has to offer.
